    Myrtle Beach surf fishing

I will be in Myrtle (not North Myrtle or the surrounding area - smack dab in the real Myrtle) for the first week of October.

I can’t find any regulation surf fishing. Anyone have any info or a link to any info?

Im just looking to wet a line with the kids … but I can’t find where it is and isn’t allowed and what times of day/year/etc.

These three links below have good, current info. Bottom line is, unlike other areas, the fisherman has to move if people come near (it's a MB thing, not a SC thing) and you can't fish any beaches when a lifeguard is present. I think the rules are different from labor day to memorial day. When we go to MB, we typically fish from sun up until the lifeguards finish setting up and then either relocate to pier or the state park where you can fish all day in the surf.
