Lexus GX 460

I bought a new GX 460 about 2 months ago. Ive always been a Land Cruiser fan, but you cant buy a new one in the States anymore. This is actually a Land Cruiser Prado, but with a V-8. My 22 may be the last year of the V-8's, or maybe the next to the last year. Anyway, I wanted to get a new one before they went to small turbo's.

So far, Ive been pleased. I recently got back from a trip to Nixa, Missouri from Virginia, where I dropped of my 21' boat at Hydrotec for some SHO work. Mpg while towing was in the mid teens. 22 mpg without the boat. Not great economy, but hopeful I can get a whole bunch of mileage out of this truck!

I just purchased a 2021 GX 460 premium for my wife around July 12. It had 18k miles but looks and smells like a brand new vehicle. Someone had really taken extremely good care of the vehicle. We have been 4 Runner folks for years. The last 4 Runner we had was a 2012 with over 180k on it. It was a GREAT SUV. The 460 is absolutely a awesome ride. I got to drive it last week on vacation. All I can say is I am impressed. Smooth as silk and zero road noise and engine noise inside. I also got 22 MPG. 4 adults and luggage packed to the hilt. I thought 22 MPG running 78-80 was pretty darn good. The sound system pretty dad burn sweet too.

2019-21 LCs are going for $80-100k, nuts. The GX is a sweet ride luckily you got one of the last V8s Toyota will probably ever make.

BS toyota isnt going to make a v8. Bullet proof. If you can buy one than ya aint worried about miles per gallon. My landcruiser gets 10 mpg...but who gives a damn. I just cant pass a gas station...lol

SUV. It is about the same size as a 4Runner. It has a V8 where the 4 Runner has a 6. From what I was told the Lexus GX460 will be going to a turbo 6 cylinder next year.

The GX is built off the 4Runner. If you want a compatible vehicle to the land cruiser look at the LX.

Yep. Sure miss my old LX570 set up for overland. Such a killer 4x4 SUV.
