    Stuck Hub

Bought a reported to be barely ran 24 pitch fury on here. Got it today and it has hub in it that for the life of me I can’t get out. I have had 5 or 6 of these props on Yamahas and no issue with popping the Yamaha hubs out. This must be a mercury hub because it looks a little different. Any ideas on what I should try or just report this as a fraud and try to recoup my money?

Post a pic of both sides of the prop hub.

You should be able to drive that HD fat shaft hub out with a socket, extension and hammer. From the nut side.

    That is a $150 insert.

Mark, your saying from to nut side of the prop down toward the back of the prop? I’m lost because this is opposite of Yamaha.

Glad you got it.... But I know I could have pounded it out with a hammer.... Maybe you just needed a bigger hammer.

I use a 3 lb sledge, vice grips and socket to get mine to budge. I have tried greasing them vs not greasing them sometimes they get stuck anyways!
