    Gpsquestion

I have a hds gen 3 at the console and the other at the bow ..how should my data sources be set so when I mark a waypoint at the console or the bow they are at the right location and not 12 feet apart because of the unit location?

Also should the point1 be selected on either unit or both?

Bow: GPS = Scope, Local; Source, This Unit
Vessel = Scope, Local; Heading Source, Point 1

Console: GPS = Scope, Local; Source, Point 1
Vessel = Scope, Local; Heading Source, Point 1

This assumes your Point 1 is on the stern. If located somewhere else, settings might change.

Figured since you are on the correct page, I didn’t need to provide more explanation, lol
Global means the unit is free to utilize any device it finds on the network if the selected one is not available. Local means the unit is forced to use the device you select
