My dad has had this Jon boat about 35 years. He doesn't use it much anymore, but I still like to take it out. Last time I had it out I noticed the front deck had rotted, and the transom was rot.
So me and dad decided to do a bit of a rebuild. We redecked it front and rear, and put in new carpet. Newer trolling motor. Rebuilt the transom. It also has an onboard charger and a bilge pump on case it leaks again. I've got to remount the front lowrance still, and finish wiring the trolling motor then it should be wrapped up.
