    Thumbs Up Mounting poles

    I have a ranger 198 p I would like to mount bracket to motor . Jack plate isn’t in my budget right now. Any suggestions.

    If you have a Mercury that is under warranty you will not be able to use the sandwich mount brackets.( any other outboard isnt a issue) you would have to go with a set of Mtos adapter plates between motor and transom as well as a set of sidemount s-2-2 brackets bolted to the MTOS as this is the Merc work around in order to keep the outboard warranty intact. If the mercury is no longer under warranty ( or you have any other brand of outboard) or you just do not care if you void mercs warranty then a set of M-2-3 sandwich mount brackets can be used.
