    '99 EFI 200 gauge recommendations

    Hello.

    0G824976

Looking for recommendations for new gauges for my '99 200 EFI. Thinking just go with Quicksilver analogs, just not really sure if they would all work or if its a specific gauge model? Redoing my 2000 BCB P3 that had a BP101 dash panel.

    Thanks.

If it’s smartcraft compatible I would go that route.

99's not Smartcraft. Regular Mercury analogs are the only option I know of.

Smarties started in 2000, one year off for me (of course).

Yeah just analogs, which I am fine with. What I am not sure of is if other brands like SeaStar and such are compatible, or how to tell.

Most are compatible of analog, which gauges are you going to use?

There will be no oil pressure on a 2 stroke. Yltilt/trim may require a specific gauge but the water temp and water pressure will not. I would get a 0-30psi gauge for water pressure and a temp gauge up to 220, maybe 250, though if over 200 it’s usually a problem.

Ended up calling Mercury directly and they said Admiral or Flagship. Ended up buying the Admiral lineup. I will post if there is any issues just in case someone else needs this info in the future
