    5th battery placement

Hey guys I'm looking to buy a 2012 Phoenix 921 pro XP. This boat does not have power poles but still doesn't appear to have the room for a 5th battery for electronics. I have an 80ah lithium I would like to put in. Wondering where everyone is putting a 5th battery or if it's even worth it. I will be running 2 carbon 12s with active target and a helix 12 with 360.

I have 5 batteries and pumps in my 2021 721 but its def tight. I run a yellow top agm with a lithium (27 size) in parallel for extra power and agm crank to supply ample cranking amps while also supporting enough power for electronics plus 3x 100ah lithium's for TM which I believe are also 27 size' ish. I will post a picture for you shortly

I have 5 group 31 agm, power pole pumps and the oil tank in the back of my 2016 721. It is tight and might require you to change how the battery trays are installed but it will fit, You should have plenty of room unless you have a spare prop on that holder.

Haus is right on the money. I removed my extra prop holder and rearranged my battery trays to accomplish this.

So the center two feet in this boat is just hollow down to the pumps. There are two batteries on each side and I don't believe they can slide over any further

That's what it sounds like. Should have no problem with 5 batteries and 2 PP pumps.

Maybe you can call Phoenix and they will send you another metal plate to cover the hole. Then mount your battery on the plate.
