    Motorguide Digital Tour Pro

    Ok - I am trying to fix my trolling motor...I hit a pile of rocks and the TM quit. I took off the prop and the eliminator....it has power to the unit but it will only spin when I pull on the shaft like it wants to "engage" I put it all back together but I cant seem to get it to work unless I pull on the prop....


    Not sure if I am explaining it correctly
    Any insight?

    The Digital Tour I had previously didn’t have any end-to-end play in the shaft to speak of. It would just spin up when the foot pedal was pressed.
    Sounds like you have a problem in the motor, and possibly a bearing going out.
