this bank fisherman was wonderin what y'all use. I know it's braid for the weeds and I use Yozuri 12 pound test for the open water. Do you think 10 pound green line would be less visible in our clear water ? I believe the floro is the least visible in the water. What are your thoughts ?
My fishing has been on the bank & dock for about the past five years, unless I'm going on a friend's boat.
Started with the same braided line to fluorocarbon setup, changed quickly to monofilament to fluorocarbon.
All the merits of braided line went out the window pretty quickly, IMO. More overall control in the rigidity.
Similar approach to offshore. Private boat, I'll use braid all day. 2-3 day party boat, monofilament for sure.
