Ditwiller Jack plate not working

Anyone have an experience with a Jack plate not working.Boat was not used much for 1.5 years.Trim and tilt works great .Jack plate went up very slow and now won’t come down.When zi use the blinker switch ,I can hear clicking sound.Any ideas?Thanks

Have you checked the plate for lubrication as it sounds like the relay is operating. If so then it could be the motor.

I had the same problem with mine. Need to grease it. At least try that before you start tearing things a part.

Mine did the same thing and was low on fluid
