    voltage on hull

    Anyone else have voltage on their hull? - Neg. lead to anywhere on bear metal like a compartment lip and + pos lead to battery +. 13.5 volts

    duh you have a positive wire touching the hull somewhere not normal

    Neg wire connected to motor so it is connected to hull. You are basically touching your leads to the battery + and -.

    If that was so it would be blowing fuses. We found out today that our motor is grounded to the boat.

    That is what we found this afternoon by process of elimination. By pulling fuses one by one and checking after each fuse was pulled. Also by disconnecting each battery one by one.We disconnected the pos. then check, hooked back up then the neg.. We started with all 3 TM batteries left them unhooked, to the electronics battery. Then to the starter battery is where we located the voltage coming from the motor with ground unhooked.
