Mercury 450r high fuel pressure alarm

    Serial 1E091900

brand new 2022 450r is giving a critical return to port high fuel pressure alarm. Fault code 442-4

seems to happen more when throttling down. Motor does seem to sputter a little at idle.

    Any ideas?

Need to get it back to the dealer ASAP (don't continue to run it). Several possibilities, manifold pressure reference hose not connected, improperly connected, impinged, regulator problem in FSM, or even a faulty pressure sensor.

Ended up being a bad FSM. Switched it out and all good. Thanks!
