94 sv costal data gone when lake vu g3 sd card is in unit

I have a echomap plus 94 sv that I want to use for fresh water also, I have the garmin boat kit and it works fine when I put in the Lake vu g3 inland map sd card, however if I leave the sd card in and try to use the unit in saltwater I loose all of the 94sv navigation data like water depth and channel markers. If I take the sd card out, all of the costal info works like it should, my question is is there a way to choose whether the unit is using internal 94 sv maps or the sd card?

No it is working as designed. You need to remove the LakeVu card to view your built-in BlueChart mapping.
