Does anyone know of a way to remove the non stick coating that is used on some reel's and reel seats ? I have quite a few were it is wearing off or has become very sticky.

I used hand sanitizer and a fingernail on a couple of mine that had gotten tacky. It was handy…..but I bet mineral spirits or goo gone would work too.
