    Minimum Expected Water Pressure -BF60A

I am NEMA-fying my boat. I will have access to the BF60's operating parameters as a result if things go as planned. :)

My shop manual tells me what oil pressure should be at idle and at what temp range the thermostat should open but it's mum on water pressure.

Anyone have an idea of what I should expect?

    Thanks!

PS Honda tech support just referred me back to the dealer. Why would Honda tech support have knowledge of this? Ahem.

Dont believe the water pressure is a NEMA value. Temp and when the Thermostat opens is the key. As long as your getting a stream and water pressure gauge on the dash should be good.

I have a BF90A with the NMEA connection to my Lowrance. Water pressure is available and I have it displayed on mine. I can't remember what it is at idle. I think it's around 13 psig at WOT. Next time I'm out I'll check it at idle and post back if I remember.
