A friend has a 2008 Skeeter w/250 series 2 outboard. Had compression check done and found 1 cylinder was at 50#, rest were in normal range. Was told he needed a new powerhead. Can this be repaired without changing powerhead?

It would depend on the extent of the damage to the cylinder that has the low compression.
