Will havw a few spare vacation days left after hunting season and it's been a while since I havw been anywhere with the boat.
For a short 3-4 day wintertime fishing trip where would you all suggest. Thinking mainly TN as I do really like the area.
Small mouth would probably be the target. Would it be better at Dale Hollow, maybe Pickwick?
Just looking for some ideas.

What month? Late October through December are usually pretty good. January and February can be as well, weather permitting. Cherokee, Douglas, South Holston and Watagua.

IT will more than likely be Thanksgiving week

Just basing on how hot its been this summer, I wouldn't expect Dale Hollow to be quite ready at Thanksgiving. It's not going to stop me from going, because I go that weekend every year but I'm expecting it to be hit or miss this year.
All depends on the weather before hand. But that is when it usually starts getting good.
