Considering 21 PHX and coming out of Z521L

Looked hard at this rig 2 years ago, but stayed with Ranger. For guys that moved from 521C / L to 21 PHX (or 921 Elite), what are the more prominent differences that are positive and negative. Thanks in advance.

    Owned 3 520c’s

    1. Ride is much better … my back loves me for it
    2. Love the storage & slam latches
    3. When parts needed, Tim has been awesome.
    4. Deck is a dream to fish off of
    5. Ranger finish is a little nicer, but never caught me any more fish … just pretty.
    6. I bought a demo first 21PHX … Absolutely loved and special ordered my dream retirement boat with custom colors. Have never looked back since buying the Bird! Beyond happy!

    Came from a 521C . In my 6th year in a 921 PHX .

    Much better hole shot.
    Better handling
    Much better in rough water.
Better fit and finish. Had lots of little issues with the Ranger.
Ranger cooler was better. I just but more ice.

This boat is probably my last boat and I couldn't be happier with it.

I "had" a 521c and landed in a Z520L while at the exact same time my tournament partner bought a PHX21.
We don't just team tournament fish together we fun fish together and alternate boats so I have a lot of seat time in the PHX21.

I will say it is the best rough water ride I have ever been in, bar none.
I am cramped behind the wheel and the hotfoot is off to the side so it contributes to the lack of comfort for me.
Speaking of me, this is a good time to point out these are my opinions, yours will no doubt be different.

This is a big boat and the front deck is huge. Having said that I feel cramped (there's that word again) while on the TM, this may be more of an ergonomic thing for me but compared to my "R" boat there is not as much room when on the TM. Also it should be pointed out that I fish with a bike seat in place which probably accounts for that feeling, the Phoenix bike seats are "Big"
