    1989 Champion wiring & plugs

New owner of an '89 single console 184, trying to sort out the wiring etc.

I have owner's manuals from 2 awesome folks on here, both show same schematics. I don't see anything in there to answer these questions...

(FYI, the bow panel is a little different, the manuals show one single "Pro-Charge" panel with a hexagon TM plug, mine looks like it's just split into 2 separate panels, with a 3 pin twist-lock for TM. I'm assuming the wiring is same / similar.)

    [See pics for these]

    1) What is the 120V style 3-prong plug inside the rear compartment for? (I haven't pulled it yet)

    2) Anything to show how the DC ammeter guage is supposed to be connected? (Do people keep this, toss it, or replace w voltmeter?)

    3) Any info on what appears to be a circuit breaker protection panel? Buttons both say "40", obviously assume 40 amps.

    Thanks for any help!

    1) Built in battery charger plug.

    2) Didn't have one on mine, owner may have installed

    3) Trolling motor circuit breakers in the olden days TM's were 12/24 volt selectable so the wiring was in parallel and not in series like today.
