Will do. Can't wait to try it out. A lot of relief knowing I can swap it out within 30 days if I need to

The Powetech NRS3 and PTR3 props are both far better than a Laser 2. My 22" pitch stock PTR3 runs 2-3 MPH faster and handles better than My 22" pitch laser 2 that I have had worked twice by a prop shop.

WoooooHoooo new PowerTech NRS3 13.25 X 15 came yesterday. Fired that baby up today. Original Solas 13.25 X 17 only turned 5100 rpm's and topped out at 38.1 on the GPS. Long story short, the new prop runs 37.1 and will turn 5500 as the motor should. Due to Powertech's swap out policy I could swap out for another size, but I think I'm staying with the NRS3.

    37 MPH is terrible for a 75hp.

Before my 75 Opti was modified it would turn a 18'' prop to 42mph. I don't see how a 15'' is enough prop. I also wouldn't put to much trust in your stock tach as they are often wrong. Recommend a vesselview mobile for monitoring your engine.

Yep. 40-43 mph is pretty nominal for a 75 HP. At 37 mph, something is off or mounted wrong.

37 mph is 60 hp speed. I could run 38 gps at 6000 rpms with a ss 14p silverado prop. And idk whoever told you these hulls have a porpoising issue because that is false thats the Ranger style hulls these stepped transoms do not do that. I would be examining the bottom of the hull you have a low hanging weld or a hood in the rear somewhere affecting performance. I never had any performance issues running a laser when i had my very modified setup. The new 75 4s motors run a 2.07:1 gearcase they did away with the low 2.33:1 gears that the opti had and they have never performed as well. The 75 optis were 42-43 mph setups with a laser prop on them. This setup should turn a 19-20p prop motor mounted 3rd hole. My bet is a hull issue. I couldnt make my boat porpoise even in the 60 days i could trim fully at wot and it would carry the hull decent for what it was.

Just be aware when dealing with Power Tech.....there is no such thing as a free 30-day swap when returning a prop in pristine shape! You will be dinged a 55 dollar plus restocking fee which quite frankly is ridiculous for opening a box. Plus, shipping both ways. I have an expensive paper weight 4 sale.

I returned mine last year and didn't have to pay that.

Its been my understanding that the Tracker "Revolution" hull responds well to a stern lifting prop.

My PT175TF, 4S 60HP has hit 38 MPH GPS @ 6000 RPM (not analog tach, but read directly from engine PCM via Vessel View or Mercmonitor), with just me and a lite load, using the original (slightly beat up) Black Max 14p 3 blade. I have switched over to Trophy Sport 13p SS 4 blade (quicker to plane and better midrange cruise), and get to 36.7 MPH @ 6000 RPM, with 1 other person in the boat. I can trim to half way on the analog gauge with zero porpoising.
