My 2015 G2 has a trim issue. When I trim it up I to go into shallow areas, it will intermittently hop down on the trim cylinder. It hops about once a minute and does that until it gets down to the main trim cylinder.
anybody ever experience this issue and if so, what am looking at to get it fixed.

Do you have trim tilt fluid under either tilt tube cap? Just curious.

I have a 2016 G2 250 and mine would do the same thing they changed the mid section of the motor ( I believe). Your problem could be different but sounds very similar to mine. It was all under warranty as the motor was less than a year old.
