2013 Ranger 522 Merc Verado 250 26 Pitch prop

A buddy is running a 26 pitch on his 522 with a Verado 250 and only spinning 4000-4500 what he need to get him going. Not a lot of tackle any ideas? Thanks guys.

I am running a 2013 Z522 w Merc 300 with a 4 blade Fury 24 in pitch, my rpm is 6100 at wot . Hope this helps !

i would post in the merc area sounds like a motor issue or 2 much prop or both

Sounds like a lot f prop for that setup. I’d try a 25 Fury. Maybe a dealership can lend you one. Some dealers get the blue color test props to try out before you make a mistake getting wrong prop.
