Its only 115 degrees here today.........

Had the windows down on my truck most of the day. Went out to head to town earlier and it read 127 degrees. It actually was only 114-115 and after a few miles it got the correct reading. The banks in town showed 114-115 as well. I think that probably shut down my afternoon topwater bite....

I was in the central valley of California last week and 100 was far more comfortable compared to the sweat box we are in now, and we've had 1.3" of rain today with more on the way tonight. Then the heat is supposed to move in later this week. But at least we have A/C, Europe is roasting and few have more than a fan.

    Watch the dew point temps.

I call it the swampa$$ gauge.

Above 60 and it starts to get sticky.

Reminds me of the time we went to Cancun. I think it was March. Not sure, just know the guy in the couple we went with was skipping out on plowing snow in Minnesota at the time. Anyway, so dang hot the pools were uncomfortable warm. AC NEVER EVER got the room comfortable and the show was almost not hot. The only time it got close to comfortable was when it rained. Once. Ask me if I plan to go back to Cancun. LOL

How do you do it? Anything over 70 is too hot for me.

You kind of get used to 100-105 degrees but you can for sure tell its hotter than that.

‘Only’ 95 here today; but with our lovely humidity, the heat index was 17 degrees higher at 112… supposed to get warmer through the week.

Gills might possibly be more efficient at oxygen uptake than lungs in this chit.

Then again, it’ll all be a distant memory when out on the water October thru May.

A comfortable 22 here today... Celsius, that is. That would be 71 in 'Murican.
