If you have an Academy nearby they sell some. Not sure what all types though but seen hickory, pecan and oak.

Look up a local tree trimming company. Many of them keep a supply bbq wood for resale.

Offset smokers use a lot of wood. I know around here the guys that sell firewood keep A stash of smoking wood for sale.

I use the wood I have for my woodstove. Also have friends who occasionally cut a few trees down.

I buy different types of wood chunks at wallyword. Best to stock up in the spring when the grilling season starts. They often have several different wood in chunks. I use mostly lump charcoal to do the long term cooking and only place enough flavored wood on top to smoke for a couple of hours, not burning wood for the full cooking time.

Try Home Depot and sometimes Walmart.
