HDS Live 22.1.1

I just received a new HDS Live 12 unit and it has software version 22.1.1. When I turn on all of my units, I get a notice that a software update is available for my two HDS Live 9 units. They both have 22.1 software. The newest I see on the Lowrance website is 22.1. Is a newer 22.1.1 version available for download? Anyone know what the newer version does differently?

22.1 is the latest software for Live, Carbon, Structure 3D, and Active Target. Please note, all are different and unique to the unit they are designed for. You may have a module that still needs updating. FYI, 22.1 refers to the first (1) software update for 2022. Thus 22.1.

Update 22.1.1 is available for download, do not pay attention to the specified release date of the update, just download the file, after downloading the designation 22.1.1-65.1.18 will appear.
For some reason, there is no description of the changes, apparently it is so insignificant.

There has been no release of software since January which was 22.1. It introduced Ghost 360 and movable AT icon. If and when a new update for 2022 becomes available it will be named 22.2. The entire file name is 22.1.1-65.1.18.upd as mentioned above. Again, there has been no release for Live units since 22.1 in Jan. Unless it was ex-US.

In January, version 22.1.1-65.1.14 was released. Now the manufacturer, without much noise, without changing the release date, has changed the software version number. What is it for?

No idea, usually when there is an actual release in the US, word gets out very quick. I’ve turned my units on connected to the Internet and they don’t recognize a new version. I have the .14 version. It’s probably not a big deal. Is the .18 version also available for Carbon and Structure 3D? I have .14 on everything

Applied 22.1.1 today and voltage readout is indeed fixed. Haven't been on the water, yet, but didn't notice anything else when setting back up from hard reset.

Going out to check my units - I upgrade maybe two months ago so assume I have the latest .18, but am going to double check :)

exactly what is the voltage readout issue you are referring to? my issue is my lives only show the tm volts (36) and not the volts at the units themselves.

There are two electrical selections in the data sources. One is called battery and I think that one is for a NMEA connected trolling motor. The other is called Voltage and provides the volts going into the unit. I have both showing on my console unit. Just have to dig a little deeper. and you'll find it.

How does your unit read the trolling motor volts? do you have a ghost?

That is exactly it. :)
Ghost has a built in voltagemeter that the unit gets data from through NMEA2000.
