That's something I have been wondering myself. Looking forward to hearing the responses.

Tempest Plus should turn more rpms, give better bow lift and be able to run higher with larger diameter than the Fury.

Have both. Like the tempest better. Fury acts more like a 26

I have ran both on my boat, but mine were 24 pitch. Fury was ok with light load, Tempest worked by Mark better everywhere. Especially with 2 guys and live wells full. Also this is with Pro XS 2 stroke. From what I read 4 stroke maybe a different animal.

Fury will turn like it’s 1-2 inches stiffer. Slightly better holeshot, excels on hulls that like to run a little flatter and hulls that like a little stern lift. Everyone likes them because they are “newer” but the 25 tempest has been the gold standard fishing prop for so long for a reason, it is a fantastic all around prop and typically can’t be exceeded in speed out of the box without a high end custom prop. I run a 24 fury4 because of the holeshot and slow planing speed it allows, but my 25 tempest was at least 3 mph faster. I can still hit 70 when I want and that’s all I’ve ever asked for anyway.

I have a boat that everyone says loves the tempest. I have a 25 tempest and a 24 fury. I love the fury. No loss of speed bow lift whatever and amazing hole shot and can stay on plane at slower speeds. Every situation different I guess. The fury you difentaly need to drop down a pitch
