Storage lid shocks

Has anyone installed gas struts on their storage compartments. I have a 2021 H18. Ideas for size, measurements, and placement would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes sir just installed on my 2019 x 18 nothing to it you will want to buy 10 in 45 pound struts can be found on eBay or Amazon I used 2 for my center lid . If you Google the struts there is a formula that you can use to make sure you get the proper pound for your lids good luck
