New owner…seat height?

Just purchased my first Allison, ‘22 Bassport. Has anyone done anything to add height to the driver seat in any way? Additional padding in the bottom..etc. I’m about 5’9” and really would like to be sitting a littler higher when driving. Having to look through the glass on the windshield and would rather be able to look over. BIG change from driving my old 198 Champion!

I put 2" spacers under the seat of mine. I used 1/8" Aluminum C channel.

I haven’t looked under the seat to see if there was a way to do that.

Get some 1" plastic spacers and longer bolts from your local big box hardware store. Install them between the slider and the seat, under the slider or both, your choice. Stack them until you have the desired height. Easy.

I got the spacers from Allison

I put a throw cushion in my seat when I want to look over the glass and take it out when I don't.

Call Bill at Allsion and he will send ya spacers to raise the height. Best way to go.

I ordered them from Allison…expensive pieces of plastic. But, after figuring out how to install them, like the seats much better.

I got lucky.
Used to be a scrap yard here that had a plethora of nylon and plastic pieces they sold by the pound.
