    Honda on a bass boat

    I am thinking about putting a honda 225 on my skeeter zx225. I was wondering how it will effect the performance. Comparing to to a hpdi 225. Does anyone have any experience switching to Honda and the performance differences?

    can't go with a 250 hp?

    My boat is rated for a 225 however I am not opposed to getting a 250.

    Probably going to loose 5-7 MPH, but gain reliability and fuel milage.
