2014 bass tracker 175 txw rpm gauge

I noticed yesterday my speed was a bit off on my speedometer and my RPM gauge is saying I'm running at 7000rpm, when I seen that I instantly slowed down, on a good
    day I'm hitting 5500 RPM.

I checked the wiring on the battery, gauge and fuse box.

When I turn the key on the RPM drops to 0.

If you're running a Mercury, You can buy or borrow a vessel view module from someone and check your RPM's directly off the engine. I run it as the analog gauges on boats are notoriously inaccurate or break, especially with the newer digital feedback engines.
