I went to a dealer two weeks ago to get a fuel filter. Asked if they had any new FXRs and was told they got a new FXR21 that same day. We went outside and it still had the white shrink wrap on it. The salesman took off the wrap and it was a beautiful boat. However, I noticed it didn't have the console windshield on it. Salesman didn't know why.Originally Posted by KB1953

Purchased my zx200 2022 in April (ordered right before Christmas) nap was $52,595 the 2023 nap is $57,095! Ridiculous indeed.
speaking on quality I have had NUMEROUS ISSUES with my rig and have carved a path in the road to the dealer I have been so many times. They are doing what they can but the last set of issues were caused I believe by whoever worked on my boat last.
last Sunday the jackplate moved down on one side on its own. Lots of little things that should not happen to a new item in my opinion. The biggest mystery is when I get water in the boat it looks under the drivers seat and I’m being told this is normal. Anyone else had this problem? I have had numerous boats over the years and never encountered this before.
Quality control is terrible currently. Probably not just Skeeter but way too many issues on these boats. Dealers are spending a lot of time fixing problems straight from the factory.
Numerous price increases and the quality of workmanship goes down. Skeeter can build a boat in 10 days and they look like it too. They know about sending boats out to dealers with issues and continue to do so making the new owners fix their problems. This is nothing new with Skeeter. Leaking rod boxes, ice chest lid falling off, front pedestal hole too far up front to use, loose bolts and nuts, leaking liveqell pumps, etc. How do they win so many customer service awards with all the issues they currently have?" If your not happy with your new Skeeter, take it back to the factory and have fix all problems!
Will NAP pricing be the next thing on the chopping block?
Well, for 2 years Skeeter was the best bang for the buck. Now not so sure. Off to Falcon and Phoenix boats I go....
If you go to the updated Skeeter website there still is a NAP price and a MSRP price you just have to select the boat and then build this boat option to see it. Take the ZR20 for example. The MSRP is $81980 for 2023 and the NAP is $74195 for 2023. I was told by my dealer yesterday that Skeeter has been adding a surcharge as well but I think this is what used to be the charge for freight. Still, $74195 is almost $15000 more than a base ZXR20 cost back in 2021.
