Was that $58k at the beginning of 2021? I ordered a zxr20 in December and it was $68k ended up getting an Fxr21 with 3 hours on it and didn’t have to wait 9 months
It was 59,995 for a 2021 model year zxr20. During the 2021 model year skeeter still offered a $1500 rebate which made the boat 58,495. The rebate ended about a month before my 2021 came in that I ordered. It's absolutely crazy. I paid 59,995 for my zxr20 and reccieved it July 28th of 2021. 1 year later it is up $14,200. That is a increase of 23.6%. Would be interesting to see if anything changed from the 22 models to the 23 models.
I purchased 14 months ago a new 2021 Skeeter FXR 20 Apex for $76,000.00 after rebate and free 2 year extended warranty. Today they are $97,695.00, unbelievable!
And yet, they are flying off the shelves and dealers don’t have any in stock. Not sure this can continue forever..
IMHO, you are correct, it can't continue forever. I don't think the prices will drop, but, like the housing market, things will change. My better half is a real estate agent, 6 months ago, before she could show a home that a client was interested in, it would have 5-6 bids, most offering more than asking price. Now homes are still selling, but, at price and they are staying on the market a bit longer. I am south of DC, so the housing market normally stays pretty strong.
Again, homes sales maybe different than boats, and IMHO I don't see prices dropping, but, once supply pickup, there will be deals. Maybe this might just be my wishful thinking
the prices on everything has gone up if you are in manufacturing nothing is simple anymore from getting parts to completing the finished product as long as the demand is there no reason to take less for your product.

I'm sorry but that is pure BS! Hard to believe that it's costing almost $15,000 more to build that boat.

I'm seriously looking at an FXR20 and would love to own an Apex but there's no way that boat is worth 100K.
Don't forget the taxes and registration, boat cover, motor cover, raptors cover, Mega 360, Garmin LVS34, Garmin unit, extended warranty, rigging, batteries, etc.
You can always purchase a new used Apex and save thousands!
The new/used boat prices have increased as well. I was looking at a used ZXR20 that was priced at $75K...3 days later it was $78K
I think they can still be found by people/dealers that’s not trying to take advantage of people, our local dealer had a 2022 zxr20 with half an hour on it for $65k and that was just last week.
They also have 2018 fx right now with 14 hours on it for $65k listed yesterday

These guys sell alot of boats.
$90,000.00 for a 2022 FXR 20 plus TTL. Looks like they went ahead and added 10% increase on 2023 models.
