    Thinking of new prop

04 procraft 192 super pro. 04 Merc xr6 150. Running a 23 tempest plus. Rpm at full throttle is 57-5800 and 56.8 mph depending on conditions. The motor is rated at a max of 5600rpm.

Obviously moving up to a 24 p would drop my rpm a little bit but would I gain speed with the bigger prop and the drop in rpm.? Would likely stick with a tempest but have also been looking at scorpion props but have heard they run higher pitched than what they're labeled as.

You could blueprint and add 1inch of pitch to your prop. Probably a better choice than a stock 24P Tempest If you just want speed...... I'd test a 23P Trophy Plus or PowerTech TRO4.
