Been there myself, it's not any fun. Simple fix, they go in to laser it into smaller fragments. It's probably a 5 minute procedure. It takes longer for the staff to prepare you and put you out for the lithotrispy procedure.
By the way, when you come out of the procedure, take a towel into the bathroom with you so you have something to bite down on it while taking your first pee...it's hurts like you wouldn't believe. That had to be the worst feeling I've ever had..Good luck, hope all goes well.
