    Toledo Bend South “Grass”

It’s hard to find now. What happened to it and where is any type of “grass” including pads located now, especially in the south end of TB?

Someone closer to the lake may know better.
It's my understanding they (supposedly) sprayed for salvinia and killed most everything.

I hope someone knows because I'm also interested. Last time I was on Toledo fishing 6 Mile area, I couldn't locate any. I usually find grass in 6 Mile and Housen areas.

Back in the spring they were spraying North of Huxley Bay where I wanted to fish. Two airboats making all kinds of racket. Had to change plans.

This sounds like when they put all those grass eating carp in Conroe just north of Houston. Wasn't to long before they were trying everything to get rid of those, and there was nothing left in that lake either.

They sprayed the whole lake and killed it. Then it flooded and washed it all away so that's what they blamed it on. The sad part is they still spray year around.

Yes, that ain't what we need for fish. They are committed to that, they need to start putting rock piles and without re-bar in it if they use demo'd concrete. Stumps and structures in the lake.
They are going to wipe out the fish.

Edit: my freakin spell check and fat blunt fingers are bad on this cell phone

It's not everywhere it normally is. You can usually find it shallow and deep with ease. Have to search for it now.
