Unfortunately, it's a very typical occurrence.
We enjoy watching the professional displays.
They're way more impressive & much safer.

Yeah they are going off here. I enjoy it. Set out on my tailgate of my truck with a cocktail and see the show.

Have always loved fireworks from the time I lit my first firecracker with a punk when I was around 4 years old.

Hey Bsktball55 which stand you work at? I live up in SoCo off of Tesson Ferry. May have to come visit your stand.

We live in an unincorporated area so it's a nightly show for us for about 2 weeks.

Its all summer long! Living in a tourist area, summer people bring them for their week summer vacation.
Local social media, is a buzz every night about them, and arguments if they are fireworks or gunshots....

We had quite a bit of people jumping the gun last night. a few REAL BIG bombs went off setting of car alarms and shakeing the windows.

I got woke up a number of times through the night. Just laid there, which normally I can't do. But medication has increased. So that helped.

It's booming around here once it gets near dark and then all night until 1 AM or so. Once the 4th is over it gets quiet again.

Can't stand the inconsiderate people who shoot them off at like 11 or midnight. Shoot them when it gets dark and then let people go to bed.

I like them. Don’t bother me any. When I decide to go to sleep a tornado can come and I slept through it. Don’t laugh— it has happened before. Sleep through it while my wife panicked. Barely missed our house and toppled several acres of trees a couple hundred yards from the house. Wife said she tried to wake me and all I would say is “okay, that’s nice”.
