HUMMINBIRD UPDATE

I have a helix 10 g4n mega Si as well as a helix 10 g3n DI. Both need updating but on humminbird site it shows latest update is 2.660 for both. Are they the same or how do I find out?

Every Helix model has it's own specific software. The units will ignore any software that is not theirs.
The version number can be the same for multiple models, it's the entire model name that counts.

LOOK at the unit model name in the SYSTEM STATUS view, that is what you match on the HB website to download for each unit.
You need two different downloads for your two different units.

what I think is weird right now is I am running 2.660 o nay 9 and 10 helix g4. but on the app the 10 says it needs an update which the available update is 2.660? I already have that installed so why does it say new software available? I just looked same with I-pilot link BT. I am running 1.420 and says available update which is 1.420?

Ignore the app, the update function has been disabled for about a year.
