    Motor Reputation: 2004 Yamaha HPDI

    Looking at buying a second bigger water boat [Great Lakes] and dont want to break the bank before I decide how much we use it. Ran across an older 2004 Pro V Lund in really good condition. Motor attached is a 2004 HPDI Yamaha with around 200 hours. Being from the black motor side I have zero history with gremlins of certain years of Yamahas. Advice or things to look in to?

    Folks are loathe to give out the model of a motor. Must be top secret info to them.

    Or the displacement at least with the 200hp.
