26P Tempest Plus to 26P Fury?

I am running an 05 TR-21XDC with a 225 Optimax with a 26P Tempest Plus (3-blade). I run fully loaded at 63mph~5600 RPMs (before chine walking) and the boat is set up to the Mercury Forum's tech suggestion with the old manual TH-Marine Jackplate (the guy who worked for Earl Bentz and set up the Bassmaster Classic boats in 2004-2005) After viewing some videos and going through Merc's prop selector, I was thinking about getting a 26P Fury (3-blade).

My motor is an 04 motor. My questions are, if I get this prop:

Do I have to get a new/different thrust hub for my motor?
Should I expect any difference in performance?
Does anyone have any experience switching from Tempest Plus to fury (or going back to the Tempest Plus)?

I run lakes in Kentucky, not rough water like Erie. I was curious and I really appreciate the forum!

A Fury 25 will be more like a Tempest 26.

You can run the Tempest Plus a little higher on the jackplate and the Tempest has more bow lift.

I have run both in that pitch on a different boat but the only thing I liked about the fury over the tempest was the hole shot. My guess is you won't turn the 26 fury to the redline like it's needed so go with the 25 as stated above.

Best prop on that hull with a 225 regular Opti max is a 25 tempest. That should put you at the limiter of 5750.
