HB to MG Tour Pro Adapter/Connector (GPS Only)

Will be connecting a HB 999 to a MG Tour Pro.

Is there an adapter or connector available or required for GPS connection?

    No sonar, GPS only. Thanks.

Internal MotorGuide Tour Pro GPS is only available to connect to a Lowrance or Simrad MFD.
This unlocks full functionality of the Tour Pro to be controlled by the Sonar Display. Anchor Here, Go-To Cursor, Go-To Waypoint, Route Building and Follow via the Sonar Display, Trolling Motor Status (% of thrust, Mode, Cruise target speed, etc).

These features are not available for Humminbird or Garmin Sonars/Displays.

Thanks GTO, I'm just looking to connect the HB just as a GPS source for the MG. Understood the full function not avail.

I'm waiting delivery of the MG and meanwhile working to have parts on hand for complete install.

The only connection that works between the two is the built in transducer.

Thanks. I was thinking this unit needed a GPS source, but it sounds like it has its own GPS.

The 999ci HD SI Combo has an internal GPS receiver. The ( i ) in the model name stands for internal GPS.

Thanks. I'm familiar with the HB designations. Thats the exact unit I use for mapping up front.

I was thinking that a Motorguide Tour Pro, or for that matter, any of the spotlock capable units, required an external GPS source (for some reason).

I now understand they've got their own, and the NMEA connector is for networking.
