Dual Pro 15amp only charging ionic lithium at 7-8 amp?

I just picked up a new Dual Pro PS4 15amp with Autoprofile (lithium) 4-bank charger. When looking at my ionics bluetooth app for my ionics 125ah lithium, I noticed it's only being charged at 7-8amp.

I called Dual Pro yesterday and tech support said they are not aware of any issues with this combination and it's likely the ionics battery that is limiting the current.

Thoughts? Anyone else with same/similar setup and seeing the same charge rate?

EDIT: My full setup is the new charger above with one 125ah lithium (ionics) battery for cranking, and 3 wet cell group 29 batteries for trolling motor.

    Thanks

The current is generally determined by the battery state of charge. It slows as it approaches full charge.

I experimented with this and noticed that it didn't make a difference whether the battery capacity was almost full (80+%) or below half capacity. In fact, it seemed to be worst with lower capacity. See screen shots below:

Kinda what I figured, but the numbers in my response above doesn't match this... ?

My battery does charge up to 100% with 14.x volts... the problem is with the current being low at around 6-8amps only - ultimately taking 12+ hours for a full charge, which defeats the purpose of a 15amp charger. I have other friends with the same lithium battery and diff chargers (mk460, ionic, single 20 amp charger, etc) and they get between 10-20amps during charging.

My NOCO Gen Pro usually shows 14+ volts under "Current" during early stage charging, and tapers down to around 13 at maintenance stage. I'd be calling Dual Pro first.

Photo, Did you give that info to Dual Pro? Does not sound like it could be right. I have heard they had some issues with Lithium profiles in the past, but I would have assumed they fixed whatever the problem was. They used to be the gold standard in chargers. Let us know if they fix you up. Bob

yea I have 2 dual pro professional chargers. One with relion lithium profile. The other with normal stock lead acid profile. They both charge about the same at about 13-14 amps.

Something definitely isn't right. I already called them yesterday and they said the issue could be the battery. That or send the unit in so they can inspect it. Problem is, I literally just received this unit last week and installed it. I have a busy fishing/tournament schedule this season - not sure if I can afford to be without a charger for a couple weeks or however long it'll take to send and receive the unit back from them... Sigh...

I'm in the same boat as you, I just picked up a DualPro SS4Auto charger which is supposed to charge at 10 amps but I'm only seeing 3 amps per battery at around 80 percent and I'm running an Ionic 125AH and 3 Ionic 100AHs.
