    Nema2000

Hey fellas quick question, in your nema 2000 setups does it show the transmission position? Mine shows forward, neutral and reverse. however, when in reverse the display shows it's in forward. Have you guys seen this before? It seems to be digital in gear or out of gear are only options. I'm using a lowrance elite 7
    thx -jt

It depends on the engine and what model it is.

Many mechanical control engines only have a neutral throttle switch that simply tells the ecu if its in gear (F or R) or not. So that is then the only signal that can be sent to the network and by default it shows up as F.

Its generally (generally) the fly by wire models that have additional sensors that tell the engine when F and R are selected.
