GPSmap 922 update?

I've just bought a secondhand livescope system with a 922 head and black box. I've installed the active captain app and need to get an SD card. Any recommendations on what sort of SD card to get? Anything to be wary of if I do an update? The unit is about 3 years old and has never been updated.

32gb or less. Put the card in the unit before you do the update, follow the prompts whether you do AC or computer download.
