    Ionic batteries and Noco genius

I have 3 Ionic 50 ah 12V batteries for my trolling motor that are charged by a Noco Genius on board charger; One battery takes substantially longer to charge than the other 2. Not the battery as it charges quickly with a stand alone charger. No warning lights on the charger it just takes twice to three times the amount of time to charge. Any troubleshooting advice?

How many amps is the battery getting while charging? Check on the bluetooth app.

I have 3 50ah Ionics charged by a NOCO GENPRO10X3 with no issues

all 3 charge at same rate

I suggest that you swap charger leads and see if the same battery has the issue or if the same charger bank does

this will point you to the source of the problem

That one should work. Swap the charger leads as suggested.

This should be the easiest and quickest way to troubleshoot after the next time you're off the water.

This is the reply from Noco? Not sure how to remedy this as the three in parallel are 50ah 12V and the isolated is a 125ah 12V

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting NOCO Support.

Do you have all 4 batteries wired in parallel or is it 3 batteries in parallel and a 4th battery isolated? Being wired in parallel may be the issue this is happening.
    Thank you,

your batteries are probably wired correctly in series or you trolling motor would not work, and if the charger was hooked up incorrectly one or more batteries would d not be charging at all

for now I would just swap the bank on the battery you are concerned about with another
also recheck the setting on the NOCO and confirm that its still set on lithium, if that charges to another profile it will not charge the same as the others
