Driving in Michigan. Paying ramp fees on Michigan. Trying to load your boat without power loading in Michigan. None of these would be a problem if the fishing wasn't soooooooo good in Michigan.

Plumbing, drives me crazy with so many pieces that supposedly fit but it's a mess of an unknown number of "standards" that need adapters to fit other "standards". I can't imagine being a professional plumber and having to carry that many parts just to make repairs.
Electrical work really does have standards that different brands work with most of the time.
I am not a professional at either, just try to keep an older house in good condition.
Can you tell I hate proprietary stuff!!

Deathly scared of lightning. When I was a kid i was swimming in our neighborhood pool and had an approaching storm. The pool guard told us to get out because the storm was approaching. About 10 seconds after I got out a lightning bolt hit the far side hand rail. Lightning and thunder was instantaneous and left a weld mark in the hand rail.
