Gpsmap 1022 wiring

Stand alone unit for lvs34 livescope.. no linking or other uses.. Is there any use for all the extra wires in the power cable?

Wiring up the unit, box, transducer and new lithium setup is all about as simple as it gets without directions, then I try to make sense of the other multicolored wires and im instantly lost. These are for functions I do not need, right?

Right. All you need to wire is red and black for 1022 power.
