    Cost of yard Mulch.

I understand that pricing can be different depending on your region. How much do you guys pay for mulch delivered? I was quoted $700 delivered for 10 yards that seems really high.

That’s sky high. Not sure about your area, but does your city/county have a composting facility? In my case, we do and they only charge a loading fee, considering you have a way to haul.

My wife got 16 yards of colored mulch this week for $470 plus delivery charge of $40. And even better, she spread it herself in the stifling VA weather.

Instead of replacing their much my parents Dyed it. Just used one of those typical pump up lawn sprayers. Said it looks like new.

You can buy 2cf of bagged mulch from lowes for $4 a bag.. so a CY of bagged much would be $54. $20/yard for delivery seems like a lot.

Crankin Chicagoland Wholesale Mulch is on Rt.53 north side of Crest Hill. They should be about $35-$40 a yard. Not far from you, just stop by with a pickup. 815-726-8222

Mulch prices have gone up but that sounds like someone is trying to stiff you.$36-$44 a yard we charge depending on color then a delivery fee, on 10 yards probably $100.

$73 dumped in your driveway here about 30 min north of downtown Houston. Its junk though, the yard charges by the trailer for all the lawn guys clippings and limbs, it all gets ground up and they dump carbon black on it. Lasts about 3 months as its not hardwood, mostly dirt and leaves or bush trimmings total junk. They grind very few tree stumps from what I see and locally.

Was at a landscape supply yard today. Mulch was $35/yard without delivery. I needed and which was also $35/yard which seemed pretty high to me.

Cost me 80-90 to fill my 8X14x2 trailer with black double ground. Buying at 10 loads a year.

16 yards? Is she mulching the whole neighborhood?

Bought a yard last week but can't remember if it was $30 or $35. Pretty close to what they quoted you though.
