    Custom Metal Work

Anyone know of a metal shop that can make billet aluminum battery trays that use J-bolts and aluminum arm/bar to hold batteries in place instead of straps? Plus powder coat them.. Example below, but without the Phoenix logo, and it is for 3 50Ah Ionics going in my new XRS.

I couldn’t find a tray setup I liked and was not going to use straps. I ended up making my own with aluminum stock and some stainless steel J bolts. I run two boats on one pair of Ionic 50’s with custom slide bracket. Not difficult if you are handy.

Basscat trays are pretty nice and extremely secure! I run them in my boat

I made a similar one but used rachet straps for each battery , all ratchets low on the side , not a fan of metal over the top of a battery .
