    LVS 32 transducer extension cables?

I’m wondering what the rule of thumb would be on the total length a person could extend the LVS 32. I would like to mount the black box in the floor next to my batteries and run 2-10’ extension cables connected together up to the bow and tether it out near the front. Then I could easily disconnect and remove my pole mount with the transducer. So total length would be about 35’( 2-10’ extension + 15’ of the LVS cable). Is this feasible? Thanks!

That would probably work, but where is your graph, you need to think about Ethernet cables, could get expensive. Could be better to run heavy gauge wire to the front and put your black box there. That's what I did I still had to use an extension cable to allow me to disconnect my livescope pole above the deck, but the Ethernet cable was just long enough.

Those ethernet cables are available in 6' and next size up is 20'. They also offer a 500' so I would think signal loss in length is not a problem

I think you need this to extend the LS transducer cable

I think that cable if for the LVS12 unit.

This cable shows compatible for the LVS 32 and 34.

You seem correct, Mike. I didn't spend that much time researching it.

Ok, I can fit gls 10 up front in my Vexus. There is a slot for the TM foot pedal to slide into so the box will fit in there and be mostly protected from the elements. Yes two 10’ ducer extension cables would be expensive at $89 each plus the ethernet cable.
    thanks!
